We develop such methods so that we and others may apply them to experiments investigating the impact of genetic variation on human disease, evolution, and somatic differentiation.     Dr. Abdelrahman main research interests are data mining, visual analytics, multi-agent, information retrieval, and information extraction using natural language processing and ontologies. His current research is directed to conduct advanced big data analytics and modeling to devise computational algorithms and frameworks for biomedical computing. These solutions primarily tackle clinical data analytics problems such as temporal behaviors, data heterogeneity (structured and free-text), missing data, imbalance, and sparseness.
