Dr. John Hurdle was awarded a (very competitive) University of Utah Incentive Seed Grant, with co-investigator Dr. Kris Jordan in the Division of Nutrition. The title: "Integrating real-time dietary pattern analysis into the electronic health record." The purpose of seed grants is to provide funding that will likely lead to a funded federal grant down the road.
In December, Dr. Hurdle’s latest JAMIA paper was selected for the journal's monthly national Webinar. It was called "Identifying clinical/translational research cohorts: ascertainment via querying an integrated multi-source database" with co-authors Stephen C. Haroldsen, Andrew Hammer, Cindy Spigle, Alison Fraser, Geraldine P. Mineau, Samir J. Courdy.
