DBMI Students Actively Collaborate with Huntsman Cancer Institute

Rolando Hernandez, one of our NLM students, is collaborating with researchers in the Huntsman Cancer Institute to better understand how DNA mutations lead to cancer. Results of this collaboration have been published in a recent paper in the Pigment Cell & Melanoma Research Journal. He is co-author with Christopher Li (HCI), Tong Liu (HCI), Bin Liu (HCI), Julio C. Facelli (DBMI) and Douglas Grossman (HCI) of the article, “A novel CDKN2A variant (p16L117P) in a patient with familial and multiple primary melanomas” and was published online first at https://doi.org/10.1111/pcmr.12787.
