Industrial Hygiene (IH) is the art and science of anticipating, recognizing, and controlling occupational and environmental health and safety concerns. Industrial Hygienists work in diverse sectors to promote health, safety, and well-being among workers and communities. Intended for students who wish to the further their careers in occupational health practice, students gain the opportunity to complete coursework in occupational epidemiology, biostatistics, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, toxicology, occupational health psychology and administration and management.
