Industrial Hygiene



The Industrial Hygiene option is accredited by the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission (ANSAC) of the American Board of Engineering Technologies (ABET).

The Master of Science in Occupational Health (MSOH) with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene (IH) program includes courses in occupational epidemiology, biostatistics, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, toxicology, and administration and management as well as practical experiences in occupational health settings.

The MSOH-IH degree is intended to be completed in two years of full-time study and requires a research-based master’s thesis or non-thesis project. Full-time students may receive full or partial NIOSH financial support that can include tuition payment and provision of a stipend.
