About Me
Originally from Wisconsin, Lily attended Brown University where she received her Bachelor's of Arts in Public Health. She was a pole vaulter on Brown's Division 1 Track & Field team. After observing too many teammates sidelined by injury, she studied risk factors for overuse injuries amongst long-distance runners. She had a particular interest in learning more about the syndrome of Reduced Energy Deficiency in Sport.
After graduating college, Lily attended Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. While there, she further developed her interest in primary care, taught health education in the Baltimore public schools, and spent a summer interviewing backpackers on the Pacific Crest Trail about the psychological impacts of long-distance backpacking. She completed family medicine residency at Maine Medical Center, where she dedicated her time to pregnancy care.
When not working, you can find Lily biking, trail running or backpacking with her dog.
