  • About Me

Megan grew up in Pocatello, Idaho and attended college at the College of Idaho. The summer after her first year of college, she was inspired by the people she met while teaching English in the Dominican Republic and ended up majoring in Spanish as well as Biology. A few years later, Megan developed an interest for rural medicine during a summer she spent working at a frontier clinic and volunteering on an ambulance in the Sawtooth Mountains.

Megan attended medical school at University of Washington School of Medicine where she continued to focus on rural medicine through the Targeted Rural Underserved Tract (TRUST), and she returned to the same community longitudinally in Hailey, Idaho throughout her training. Megan followed in the steps of her mentors and attended residency at Full Circle Health Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise where she found a true passion for reproductive and obstetric care. She was also part of the Global Health Track and worked at a clinic that served a large population of patients on refugee status. Megan is thrilled to combine her joy of obstetrics with her love of the Latinx community in Salt Lake City this coming year!

When she is not working or delivering babies, Megan enjoys trail running with her dog, Macki, and going on adventures with her partner. Following OB fellowship, she plans to return to Hailey, Idaho (near the Sawtooth Mountains) to practice full-spectrum Family Medicine with surgical obstetrics.
