About Me
Tiffany grew up in a suburb of Greensboro, North Carolina. She attended Wake Forest University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. After college, Tiffany took a gap year to work as a pharmacy technician and as a medical scribe for a Family Medicine physician. She then attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. During medical school, Tiffany was a student leader for her school’s chapter of Christian Medical and Dental Associations and served on the Carolina COVID-19 Student Service Corps during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She completed residency at MAHEC Boone Rural Family Medicine Residency Program in the Appalachian Mountains of Boone, North Carolina. During her intern year, she initiated the organization of her program’s prenatal and newborn care, developing this curriculum. During her second year, she was elected as the inaugural Mother/Baby Chief to head up the prenatal, obstetrics, and newborn rotations. During her third year, she served as Chief Resident, assisting with the Program Evaluation Committee and didactics curriculum, amongst other responsibilities. Throughout residency, she enjoyed participating in her program’s Wilderness Medicine track. Because of her passion for encouraging healthy lifestyle habits, she also founded the Boone chapter of the nationwide program Walk with a Doc and served as the lead physician for this before she graduated. She is excited to serve the communities of Salt Lake City and to continue to hone her obstetrical skills and care of this special patient population.
In her free time, Tiffany enjoys doing anything outdoors with her husband, including hiking, camping, and skiing. She also enjoys cooking and baking and never likes to use the same recipe twice.
