Joanne Rolls Named Assistant Director for M.Ed in Health Professions Program

Clinicians joining the M.Ed in Health Professions Program will now benefit even more from the expertise of our DFPM faculty. Utah Physician Assistant Program (UPAP) associate professor Joanne Rolls, MPAS, PA-C was named Associate Director of the program in August. Rolls has previously served as faculty in the program.The University of Utah offers the Master of Education in Health Profession program to those who have already earned a clinical masters or doctorate degree and are interested in learning how best to educate others. The program trains these health professionals in educational theory and practice so that they can teach future healthcare providers. The curriculum focuses on theories, models, and competencies which optimize learning and retention among clinicians. Those interested in applying to the 30-credit program should check application deadlines and necessary application documents to see if they are eligible for this cycle.
