The Department of Family Medicine & Public Health (FMPH) hosted its 8th Annual Education, Research, and Community Engagement Poster Summit on April 15, 2026.
Organized this year by the FMPH Research Operation and Support Enterprise, Central Administration, and the Education Committee, the Poster Summit provides an opportunity for students, clinicians, and faculty to present their work to attendees and connect with fellow researchers across the department.
This year’s event featured more than 30 posters representing a wide range of disciplines, including Family & Community Medicine, Public Health, Biomedical Informatics, Human Genetics, Pain Medicine, Physician Assistant Education & Sciences, and Population Health Sciences.
“We are very excited that so many students were involved this year,” said Education Committee Chair Lisa Gren, PhD. “It's great to see what everyone is working on and to see the overlap in interest that people have in those topics.”
Attendees also had the opportunity to vote for their favorite posters showcased at the event. The following were voted best in their respective categories:
