Mehrnoosh Shakeri, MD, and her team have been honored with the UnitedHealthcare United Hero Award for 2025, a prestigious distinction awarded to select in-network providers who demonstrate outstanding contributions to patient care enhancement.
The United Hero Award recognizes healthcare professionals who deliver an exceptional patient experience for Medicare Advantage members and others, focusing on care coordination, effective communication, and timely access to services.

This year, Dr. Shakeri is the only physician in the state of Utah to receive this award, underscoring her leadership and dedication to her patients and team.
“I always try to make sure my patients feel heard and are engaged in their care coordination,” she added.
