Welcome to the Division of Physician Assistant Studies. I am honored to serve as the Division Chief for a group of nationally recognized faculty, staff and students. I hope this site provides you with valuable information about our educational, clinical and research endeavors.

The Physician Assistant Division was established in 2010 and our mission is to promote accessible, equitable, high-quality patient centered health care through innovative and inclusive education, clinical care, leadership, scholarship, health policy and advocacy and global community partner engagement.

We are proud of our nationally recognized and highly ranked PA program that is celebrating 50 years of training primary care focused Physician Assistants.

In 2015, the PA division partnered with South Main Clinic to serve as a comprehensive medical home for underserved families in Salt Lake. South Main Clinic provides interprofessional medical and dental care for the community while also providing clinical training for our PA students.

Through our many partnerships, we are engaged in developing and working to meet the global health needs through collaboration, education, clinical care and research.

With over ten years of focus on diversity and inclusion we have built a diverse faculty and staff, student body and developed curriculum, research and community engagement to continue this work.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about our Division and the exciting things happening here at the University of Utah.
