Tuition & Financial Aid

Beginning January 2021, there will be an additional fee of $559 per student per semester for the first four didactic semesters of the program and for $500 per student per semester for the final three clinical training semesters.

Tuition and fees are established by the Utah Board of Regents annually and are subject to change without notice.

Estimated total cost of tuition and fees for the 7-semester program are listed below, based on 2021-22 tuition rate (summer 2021–spring 2022), and subject to change:

**$97,217.48

Non-resident who does not acquire Utah residency

*$116,314.26

*All University of Utah tuitions are assessed at the resident rate during summer semesters (the program spans three summers). Non-residents pay the non-resident tuition rate only during fall and spring semesters.

**Non-residents may qualify for residency status after the first year of study. View the residency policy.

Acceptance deposit of $1,000.00 is required, split into two payments: the first due at the time of acceptance, and the second due in mid-March. Acceptance deposits will be retained for distance education fees.

Due to the time commitment imposed by the program, employment during training is strongly discouraged.
