Learning Abroad Overview

The Global Public Health Learning Abroad Program is a fantastic opportunity for students with or without a background or interest in health to work with community members, academicians from both Ghana and the U of U as well as Ghanaian graduate students to improve the health of rural Ghanaian communities in West Africa. Students will participate in community engaged research, visit cultural and historic sites and experience and African safari and enjoy down time on a pristine African beach. This wonderful experience is faculty-led and is approved as service learning and meets the International Requirement for graduation.
