Due to Covid-19, the Exploring South Korea Society, Health and Development Learning Abroad program will be our only program offered during Summer 2021.

The primary focus of the “Exploring South Korea: Society, Health and Development” program at the Utah of Utah Asia Campus is to provide experiential learning through immersion. Carefully selected field activities in the 3 weeks will allow the participants to think, feel, and experience the traditional and modern society of South Korea with its unique culture of food, lifestyle, arts, music, rapid development and its implications on society, environment and health.

Interested in one of our other Learning Abroad Programs (Ghana, Himalayas and Peru). Please join us Summer 2022.

The Global Public Health Learning Abroad Program is also a fantastic opportunity for students with or without a background or interest in health to work with community members, students, academicians to improve the health of communities in Ghana, Himalayas and Peru. Students will participate in community engaged research, on-site work to learn about cultural, social and health issues facing local people, interact and work alongside local students, faculty and community leaders and visit cultural and historic sites
