  • About Me

Dr. Ana Boulos will be starting her fellowship on August 1st, 2022. Ana did her undergraduate, global health training and medical school at the University of Utah. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2013 and completed a Graduate Certificate in Global Health with the public health department in 2014. Following this, she graduated medical school in 2019. Her interest in Women’s Health took her to one of UCSF’s affiliate programs, Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, California. During her time in California, she served as a member of the Resident Diversity Council where she and her co-residents spear-headed DEIA work within their residency and the community. She also completed the CREATE training pathway where she participated in additional women’s reproductive health training and advocacy. She lists her medical interests as obstetrics, family planning, advocacy, and global health. Ana hopes to serve an urban or suburban underserved community, likely working within a medical residency after her fellowship. She enjoyed her experience working within the under-resourced communities of Ghana, Nicaragua and Guatemala throughout her medical career. She is a native of Utah so the months she is not skiing, she is hiking or camping with her dog and husband. Otherwise, she loves cooking and eating with her loud family for long hours. Ana is excited to return home to serve her community and looks forward to her career in women’s health.
