Faculty Development Programs
The Academy of Health Science Educators (AHSE) is designed to advance state-of-the-art education at the University of Utah through teaching, research, mentorship and service. The Academy serves as a home for health science educators and a community that advocates for excellence in health science education.
Certificates give faculty members the opportunity to improve different aspects of their teaching in short time frames. There will be a time commitment with each certificate. Please pay attention to the individual time commitment before signing up for the individual mini-fellowship. These are non-credit bearing certificates.
Faculty Development strives to enhance the leadership skills of all faculty. We provide seminars, workshops, programs and funding for leadership training opportunities.
The Vice President’s Clinical & Translational Research (VPCAT) Research Scholars Program offers intensive mentorship and support for junior faculty committed to careers in clinical or translational research.
