John R. Raskind, M.D. is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics. He has a clinical practice at the Salt Lake City Veteran's Administration Hospital. His areas of interest include arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine and orthopaedic resident education.
Dr. Raskind completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University California, Davis and also completed a fellowship in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of California, Davis. He is a fellow of American Academy Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and serves on the Council of Delegates for the AOSSM.
