Dr. Leissa Roberts is currently seeing patients at the University of Utah Madsen Woman’s Health Clinic. Her practice is open for well woman care, gynecology and pregnancy care. Leissa is a Certified Nurse Midwife who has been faculty at the University of Utah College of Nursing since 1993. As a clinician, she is committed to listening to women and providing care with the nurse-midwifery philosophy that focuses on the needs of the individual and family for physical, emotional and social support with attention to cultural and personal values. She enjoys all aspects of woman’s health care and obstetrics and specializes in young woman who are having their first gynecologic health care visit. Dr. Roberts also offers prenatal care through the University of Utah Health Virtual Prenatal Care Program, which provides convenient and personalized prenatal care to low-risk pregnancies.


Leissa actively uses My Chart to enhance communication with her patients. She is part of BirthCare HealthCare (BCHC) the University’s premier midwifery practice.
