Academic Bio

Sharon Ernst has coauthored numerous articles in such publications as Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Molecular Genetics and Metabolism, Journal of the American Dietetic Association and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Ms. Ernst has received numerous awards including Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year from the American Dietetic Association, Outstanding Young Women of America, and a teaching award for Preceptor of the Year at the University of Utah, College of Health, Division of Nutrition. In addition, Ms. Ernst is a founding member of the Genetics Metabolic Dietitians International (GMDI) and serves as vice president of the Intermountain PKU and Allied Disorders Association (IPAD).
