Research Statement

Scott D. Wright, Ph.D., has a background in human development and life course theories with an emphasis in gerontology. He is currently working on a research project that examines autism spectrum disorders in adulthood and aging. He has investigated the roles of technology in an aging society (also known as "post aging.") He also has interests in adult development and aging, and retirement hot spots in the United States particularly the intermountain west. At the University of Utah he teaches several gerontology courses with an emphasis on distance learning.
