Academic Bio

Dr. Beck received his Baccalaureate of Arts degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah in 1998, his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Ut in 2004. He completed an internship in general surgery at Vanderbilt University in 2007, a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Utah Department of Anesthesiology in June 2010, and a fellowship at the University of Utah Department of Anesthesiology in 2011. He was appointed as an Instructor in the Department of Anesthesiology, University of Utah School of Medicine, in July 2010 and promoted to Assistant Professor in July 2011.
