Michelle G. Hofmann, M.D., M.P.H. is Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Administration. She received her undergraduate and postgraduate public health education at the University of Utah and her M.D. from Albany Medical College. After completing postgraduate training in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital, she completed one year of fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Utah, followed by 14 years of clinical practice as a pediatric hospitalist at Primary Children's and Riverton Hospitals. During this time, she served in numerous leadership roles, including Medical Director of Riverton Hospital's Children's Unit, Pediatric Department Chair at Riverton Hospital, and physician lead for Clinical Quality Management and the Respiratory Guidance Team at Primary Children's Hospital. Dr. Hofmann is currently Pediatric Medical Director and sole pediatrician for NeuroRestorative, a subacute care facility in Riverton, Utah, where she cares for medically fragile children with complex chronic illness and technology dependency.
