Clive was born and raised in SLC. He completed his undergraduate course work at Westminster College graduating Cum Laude with a BSN. After completing the ICU internship at the University of Utah Hospital he worked for 3 years in the Burn and Trauma ICU teaching as a voluntary instructor with the School of Nursing and received the Phenomenal Fellow Award. He participated with the ICU Attendings in research projects for analgesia and sedation protocols that are still used today. Clive then went into graduate school at California State University Fullerton/Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and worked for Banner Health in Arizona and Kaiser Permanente in Oregon before returning home to the University of Utah Hospital. During his time in Oregon he taught Obstetricial Anesthesia at OHSU and was the Lead CRNA for Labor and Delivery at Kaiser Permanente in Oregon. Clive has been serving patients in safe anesthesia delivery care since 2008 and enjoys the privilege of serving the community in this manner.
