I direct Data Science Services at the University of Utah's Health Sciences Cores, and have over 20 years of experience in healthcare data warehousing and analytics, providing data-driven solutions for innovation, value, operations, and research. I am also an adjunct assistant professor at the School of Medicine and College of Nursing, where I teach and mentor students in analytics, biomedical informatics, health systems innovation, and data science.
I have a diverse and interdisciplinary background in law, biomedical informatics, bioengineering, and biotechnology, and enjoy tackling complex problems at the intersection of technology, science, and regulation. I am passionate about data, learning, and solving challenges that improve healthcare outcomes and quality for our patient community.
