Welcome Karleena Snow to Cardiovascular Medicine!

Karleena Snow, NP, is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse
Practitioner and specializes in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. She is
excited to work at the University of Utah, where she will help with the prevention, diagnosis,
and treatment of Heart Failure, and will primarily see patients at the South Jordan Health
Center.

She has been in healthcare since 2010, and graduated from Oregon Health & Science
University with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2018. Her NP experience has been in
cardiac critical care, palliative care, and heart failure. She has a passion for education and
quality improvement and has focused her projects on improving the care that providers
give to their patients. She presented one of those projects at the Society of Critical Care
Medicine’s annual congress in 2019 and is working to publish her most recent project.

When not working, Karleena enjoys hiking, baking/decorating cakes, reading, exploring new
places (traveling) and cooking complicated meals with her husband. She and her husband
have 6 children + one son-in-law, and she stays busy being involved in their lives/activities.
