Please join in congratulating Rachael Drake on her new position as Nursing Director over the Cath lab, Electrophysiology lab, Cardiac Prep and Recovery, UH Interventional Radiology, HCH Interventional Radiology, IR Clinic, and Imaging Nursing Support Services. Rachael will start on April 16th. 

Rachael Drake has been with the University of Utah Health for the past 10 years and brings extensive leadership experience across cardiovascular procedural services, including the manager of the Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Cardiac Prep and Recovery. Rachael is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong physician partnerships, and commitment to patient safety and operational excellence. She is passionate about building high-performing teams and creating a supportive environment where staff feel empowered to deliver exceptional care. Rachael recently earned her MBA and is dedicated to advancing system-level improvements, strengthening collaboration, and enhancing the patient and team experience.
