Dr. Lee joined the Division of Hematology & Hematologic Malignancies in 2025 as an Associate Professor in BMT and Cellular Therapies. She served as Chief of Internal Medicine Residents and later became a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine and a Core Teaching Faculty member for the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium Hem/Onc Fellowship Program. During her military service with the 59th Medical Wing, she took a special interest in developing radiation injury plans for joint special operators and later served as the Chief of Hematology/Oncology and the Director for Bone Marrow Transplantation at Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Lee has several publications, she has been a PI for various cancer clinical trials, and was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal prior to completing her military service as a Lieutenant Colonel. In her new role Dr. Lee will oversee all clinical operations for the Division.
