Nephrology & Hypertension Research Trainee Info

The Division of Nephrology & Hypertension welcomes research trainees!

Trainees include undergraduate, graduate, and medical students; internal medicine residents; and nephrology PhD and MD postdoctoral fellows.

The NIH-funded U2C-TL1 Institutional Network Award for promoting kidney, urologic & hematologic research training, ASCEND: Mountain States Advancement in Research, Supportive Networking, and Career Development, provides funding for eligible pre- and postdoctoral trainees, and networking and career development opportunities for all trainees pursuing kidney, urology, and benign hematology research at the University of Utah and the University of Colorado.

The Biomedical Research Education Office (BREO) provides support for trainees across University of Utah Health, including support for Institutional Training Grants, many of which have supported pre- and postdoctoral trainees in Nephrology labs.
