Dr. Bhavreet Singh was born and raised in Punjab before moving to Toronto. He went to medical school at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences and completed his Internal Medicine residency in Manhattan at New York Medical College/Metropolitan Hospital. Dr. Singh chose Infectious Disease because infections make up such a big part of internal medicine, and he wanted to get better at navigating antimicrobial use. In Utah, he has found a program with great variety, supportive leadership, and a special bonus—Salt Lake City is home for his wife. He has a budding interest in orthopedic and soft tissue infections. Beyond medicine, he enjoys motorbiking, singing, experimenting in the kitchen, and doing yoga.
