Born and raised in Idaho, Dr. Marc Ramseyer earned his medical degree from St. George's University in Grenada. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois, before spending several years as a hospitalist at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He then returned to training to pursue a fellowship in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Ramseyer was drawn to the specialty by its diagnostic complexity and the opportunity to care for patients with conditions that can affect every organ system. His clinical interests include HIV medicine and orthopedic infections. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing basketball, snowboarding, and farming.
