Dr. Srikar Sama was born and raised in Hyderabad, India, where he completed medical school. He then moved to the U.S. for internal medicine residency at UCSF Fresno, and is excited to start his fellowship at the U. His clinical interests include lupus, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and the role of lifestyle medicine in managing autoimmune conditions. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sama enjoys exploring new restaurants and cuisines, hiking scenic trails, and traveling to new destinations. He is also hoping to take up indoor gardening as a new hobby.
