Paige Patterson was born and raised in Lexington, KY. She studied Biology at New York University, after which she pursued a career in outdoor education in California and Oregon. After several years she decided to apply for medical school and returned to her home state to attend University of Louisville School of Medicine. She retained a love for the western US and pursued residency in Utah, at the University of Utah Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program. After 4 years of enjoying the city and working with the faculty and patients here, she was delighted to be able to stay for fellowship. She is excited to be pursuing her passion to bring palliative care discussions to primary care and to provide high-quality hospice care to the adult and pediatric patients in the Salt Lake Valley. She enjoys hiking with her dog, reading and generally just being outdoors in the beautiful intermountain area.
