Meghan Gilroy, M.D., Third Year Fellow

Dr. Gilroy received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine and she completed internal medicine residency training at the University of California Davis Medicial Center, where she was Chief Resident.

Dr. Gilroy's research interests are in inflammatory bowel disease.

Abdul Haseeb, M.D., M.P.H, Third Year Fellow

Abdul Haseeb, M.D., M.P.H, Third Year Fellow

Dr. Haseeb received his medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences and he completed a family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University followed by internal medicine residency training at the University of Utah.

Dr. Haseeb's research interests include hepatology, liver transplant and advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

Geeta Kutty, M.D., Third Year Fellow

Dr. Kutty received her medical degree from Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre and she completed internal medicine residency training at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago.

Dr. Kutty's research interests are in mast cell disease and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).

Dr. Patel received her medical degree from Medical University of Silesia, School of Medicine in Katowice and she completed internal medicine residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Dr. Patel's research interests are in advanced therapeutic endoscopy techniques and esphogeal disease.

Dr. McVay received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and he completed internal medicine residency training at University of Utah.

Dr. McVay's research interests are in esophageal manometry.

Courtney Walker, D.O., Second Year Fellow

Dr. Walker received her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and she completed internal medicine residency training at University of Arizona, where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Walker's research interests include hepatology and colon cancer screening.

Patrick McKenzie, M.D., First Year Fellow

Dr. McKenzie received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth Univeristy School of Medicine and completed internal medicine residency training at the University of Louisville, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. McKenzie's research interests include motility as well as the microbiome, NAFLD and NASH. Dr. McKenzie is also strongly interested in clinical education.

Dr. Parbhu's research interests are in pancreatic and biliary disease and advanced endoscopic techniques for esophageal cancer.

Dr. Shiralkar's research interests are in outcomes assessments and quality improvement specific to gastroenterology.
