Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Program Overview

The University of Utah offers a one-year, Interventional Pulmonlogy Fellowship program. IP Fellows are selected through the National Residents Matching program. The goal of the Interventional Pulmonology fellowship program at the University of Utah is to produce expert internventional pulmonologists with strong academic credentials, preparing them for a successfull career in Interventional Pulmonology. 

Organization of the fellowship:

Rotations: 
36 weeks of IP rotations

  • 3 half days of clinics per week
  • 4 half days procedures per week
  • 1 half day of administrative work
  • 2 half days of research work
4 weeks of Thoracis Surgery rotations
2 weeks of ENT rotations
