National Resident Matching Program Codes:

All PGY-1 interns are selected through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).  You must be registered with NRMP to be ranked for the match. Below are our NRMP program codes:

Internal Medicine Residency program codes:

1732140C1 Categorical-Research Internal Medicine Physician Scientist Training Program. Interested applicants should apply using this NRMP code, but must use the Categorical Medicine NRMP code (1732140C0) for ranking.
1732140C2 Internal Medicine International Partnership Only for government sponsored categorical medicine applicants
1732140P0 Preliminary Internal Medicine 1 year program
1732140P1 Preliminary Medicine/ Ophthalmology Only for applicants who have matched into the University of Utah Ophthalmology Residency Program via the San Francisco Match. These applicants are not required to interview separately for the medicine prelim year, but still must submit their NRMP rank list with this med/ophth program code.
