Careers and Fellowship Match
Board Pass Rate
We have had 100% board pass rate for the last 4 years in a row. This speaks to the strength of our educational curriculum, medical training and high quality residents. To assist our residents in their preparation, we administer an In Training Exam annually to all residents. In addition, we also offer a subscription to the NEJM Knowledge+ learning resource to all of our residents for self-study.
Historically, 20-30% of our residents enter practice directly after graduation. We’ve trained a mix of hospitalists and general internists; private practitioners and academic faculty; and physicians that practice in nearly all parts of the country.
Each year, the remaining 70-80% of our residents chose to pursue fellowship training. We are proud of the competitive fellowship positions that our graduates secure in our own institution and across the country, which reflects the rigor of our training environment and our mentorship and research support.
