About Me: I was born and grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. At the age of 18, I moved to Basel, where I studied Medicine at the University of Basel, graduating in 2013. I obtained my MD degree from the University of Bern for work on the inflammatory response after subarachnoid hemorrhage and its implication on vasospasm. I accomplished my Residency at the Department of Neurosurgery at the Kantonsspital Aarau, University Hospital of Basel and the Neurocenter of Southern Switzerland in Lugano.
Medical Areas of Interest: Spinal and skull base neurosurgery
Interests & Hobbies: Spending time with my two children Leonardo and George and my wife Rebecca, running and cycling.
