Why Utah:
I really wanted to get excellent training at a high-volume academic institution with a positive culture! I did a sub-internship in Gyn Onc here and absolutely fell in love- the residents were so sweet and welcoming and all the attendings I worked with were kind and amazing teachers. It is an amazing environment to learn in where you feel pushed to grow while also feeling so supported by your co-residents, the midwives, and the attendings. I have absolutely loved living in SLC because of the ease of living in the city, the minimal commute/traffic, and the endless fun things to do on my days off!
Hometown:
Honolulu, HI
