If I weren't an OB/GYN...
I would want to be a polyglot and travel the world as an interpreter. I love exploring new places and connecting with people!
Medical areas of interest:
Public health, health justice, access to care, pregnancy care, high-risk pregnancy conditions, family planning, and abortion access.
Interest & Hobbies:
Hiking, skiing, soccer, running, and playing the fiddle.
Why Utah:
My interview with the Utah was my favorite interview experience. I felt the faculty and residents radiated positive collaborative energy, sincere care for their patients, as well as a drive to improve medical care for all people. I was also drawn to the excellent surgical and obstetric volume, and the University's unique position as a catchment area for high risk populations throughout the mountain west. After arriving to Utah I was very excited to find my first impression was correct. Our residents not only care about taking excellent care of patients but also of each other. I am constantly impressed by both the medical excellence and kindness of my fellow residents and the faculty at Utah. I absolutely love living so close to the mountains and enjoying nature during my time off!
