About Me
If I weren’t an OB/GYN...
I’d probably be a social worker since that was my career before! I enjoyed the work and still get to weave in it into my current profession, which is one of the reasons I chose this specialty. I think of my career in medicine as a continuation of my social worker career, but I now get to add on scientific thinking and working with my hands.
Medical Area of Interest:
Substance use in pregnancy, high-risk obstetrics, and implementation science.
Interests & Hobbies:
Hiking, yoga, and spending time with my little family.
Why Utah:
I went to medical school here and didn’t want to leave! Living in Utah is such a treat- there’s so much to do and it’s beautiful. I also knew from medical school that I loved the people in the OB/GYN department and found the residents and faculty to be exceptionally supportive. Plus the high OB volume here was a huge draw.
