    If I weren’t an OB/GYN…

Assuming we are saying no medicine at all, I would probably be in a career in higher eduaction in some fashion, dean of students or something! My fun answer is that i would try to become a food blogger where i get paid to travel and try new restaurants!

    Why Utah:

I chose Utah because it felt like home in all the ways that matter. From the moment I interviewed, I could tell this was a place where people took care of each other—where the culture was rooted in compassion, humility, and community. As someone deeply committed to caring for underserved populations, I was drawn to the program's advocacy work and the opportunity to train in a place where those values are lived, not just spoken. I also wanted to be somewhere I could grow both as a clinician and as a person, surrounded by people who are not only brilliant but also joyful, grounded, and kind. Being close to my support system made this decision even sweeter—I feel incredibly grateful to be here. I'm looking forward to becoming the ob/gyn I strive to be as well as the bond I will create with my coresidents over the next four years!
