Introducing science at an early age is important not only for curiosity development but for high school track selection as well. With this in mind the Office of Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OHEDI) offers multiple opportunities for middle and junior high school students throughout Utah to grow and flex their science muscle. Activities offered Include free classroom presentations specifically tailored toward student curriculum. Large group presentations, and on campus activities at the School of Medicine. All activities are interactive, and hands on, between professional staff members and medical student volunteers. through the combination of these programs we reach over 8,000 Utah middle and junior high school students annually
