Different Backgrounds and Perspectives

The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Utah values equity, diversity & inclusion.

We welcome physicians from all locations, of all races, ethnic backgrounds, genders, socioeconomic statuses and philosophies to be part of our program.

We seek to train leaders in sports medicine who can represent the diverse group of athletes we care for, and who can help each of us learn and grow from different backgrounds and perspectives.

We understand that a diverse community leads to innovative ideas and a more successful team. It is what allows us to thrive.
