Matching

University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Application Deadline

September 28th

Interview Dates

Late January - Interview invitations will be sent mid-November.

Electronic Application

Annually the U of U matches six first-year residents. Residents are not accepted outside of the matching process without prior approval from the ACGME. There will be no sent or accepted applications through the mail. We only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications will be sent from ERAS to residency programs starting September 28th.

Resident Selection

After all applications are received and reviewed, applicants will be contacted by email or phone for interview invites.
