University of Utah Head & Neck Research Fellow (Paid, 1 Year or Summer)
Join our Head & Neck Surgical Oncology team at Huntsman Cancer Institute for a fully immersive clinical research year or summer experience. Fellows work directly with our surgeons, fellows, and residents on high-impact projects spanning thyroid & parathyroid disease, cutaneous oncology, salivary tumors, skull base tumors, and microvascular reconstruction outcomes and peri-operative pathways.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and manage prospective databases
- Coordinate multi-institutional cohorts
- Support clinical trials (IRB, protocols, REDCap)
- Produce manuscripts, abstracts, and conference-ready figures
- Work closely with attendings with clear mentorship and weekly check-ins
