About Me
Dr. Alex Shacklette grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed a BS in Mining Engineering at the University of Kentucky in 2016 before graduating medical school in 2021 at the University of Louisville. He completed a Pathology residency at Indiana University in 2025 and was heavily involved with improving and adapting the residency curriculum as the department and residency program underwent significant changes. Alex has a variety of hobbies, including playing Warhammer and D&D, hosting board game nights, hiking, playing soccer, and watching Kentucky basketball. He is excited to explore the various hikes and national parks in Utah, as well as to try skiing later this year.
