  • About Me

    Dr. Neil Haycocks grew up in Blacksburg, Virginia. He graduated from Mary Washington College with a BS in Chemistry in 1995. In 2001, he earned his PhD in Experimental Pathology from the University of Texas Medical Branch. In 2005, he earned his MD from the Virginia Commonwealth University followed by a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2010, Neil completed a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of Maryland. He spent most of the last decade involved in medical education, most recently serving as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. Outside of work, Neil and his wife tend to their nine rescue animals. Having grown up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, he looks forward to experiencing everything Utah has to offer.
