About Me
Dr. Rui Zhang was born in Shanghai, China. She graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine with a MBBS in 2006. In 2022, Rui earned her PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University. Her PhD work focused on understanding the role of parathyroid hormone-related peptide in breast cancer development. She continued her post-doctoral fellowship focused on pediatric cancer research and extended her knowledge in next generation sequencing data analysis. Outside of work, she loves practicing yoga. She is excited about exploring Utah’s incredibly diverse range of landscapes.
