Welcome Anton Rets
Jul 31, 2018 12:00 AMThe Department of Pathology is pleased to welcome Anton Rets, MD, PhD. Dr. Rets joins the faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Clinical Pathology division.
Dr. Rets comes to Utah from private practice in Reno, Nevada. His previous academic background includes a MD and PhD from Perm State Medical Academy in Perm, Russia where he was also a resident in pathology. He completed an additional residency in anatomic/clinical pathology at State University of New York and a fellowship in hematopathology at the University of Utah, School of Medicine.
Dr. Rets’ research and clinical interests include red blood cell disorders coagulation, and neoplastic hematopathology. He is also very interested in pediatric hematology.
Dr. Rets and his wife are delighted to be back at the University of Utah and in Salt Lake City. They especially enjoy the many excellent classical music, opera, ballet and art experiences available in the community as well as exploring the natural beauty of Utah.
