Child Neurology Program

The Department of Pediatrics, in collaboration with the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah, reserves two PL-1 positions yearly in a track designated for individuals committed to training in Child Neurology. Physicians completing this program will be board qualified in both pediatrics and neurology (with special qualifications in child neurology). This program provides two or three years of pediatric training along with a year of adult neurology, a year of pediatric neurology and a year of neuroscience electives including electrophysiology, (EEG/EMG/evoked potentials), neurogenetics, neuropathology and neuroradiology. Numerous research opportunities in neuroscience, neurogenetics, and developmental neurobiology are available to trainees.
